On line property listing website, realestate.com.au, has embraced the latest technology and will soon release an app on the new Apple Watch which will alert home hunters to properties for sale in their area and show them how to get there through GPS directions.

The watch is expected to be on sale on April 24, with a starting price of $499 with luxury models expected to sell for $14,000.

The realestate.com.au app will also be released on April 24.

REA Group chief product officer, Henry Ruiz, said they wanted to make searching for property as easy as possible for people.

“Our product philosophy is to be on all devices that people use in their property search, to make their journey simple, efficient and stress free,’’ he said.

Mr Ruiz said wearable technology was on the rise and the organisation had embraced using new technology to help people find the right home. More from the original article published by the Courier Mail HERE.
