Generous Deliveries take Coast charities by Surprise
A Gold Coast property sales and management company has surprised two local charities by giving gifts unannounced on Christmas Eve.
Parkwood-based MPM Property send a call-out across its tenancy database advising it was collecting items on behalf of the not-for-profits.
MPM principal Kelly Higgins said they had a wish list of items required for each charity, with the drive running through December.
“The items were collected and placed under the large Christmas tree in our Gold Coast office,” Mrs Higgins said. “On our last day of trade, December 23, we delivered the parcels unannounced to the charities.
“We were surprised by the generosity and involvement of our staff and tenants, but both Rosie’s, who support the homeless, and the Animal Welfare League were even more surprised.”
The MPM Christmas charity drive was such a success the practice will be repeated next festive season.
MPM provides property management and sales services with offices on the Gold Coast, Mackay and Ipswich.
